Blom Tax & Consulting is a family-owned and operated boutique accounting firm in Calgary.
Many families have personal and corporate affairs that are tied together: a business, a holding company, a trust, an estate plan. Too often each piece is handled in isolation. We look at the whole picture, so your tax, accounting and planning work together toward the future you're building.
Meet the team
Beth Blom, CPA
PartnerBeth started her career in finance in 2015 and soon set her sights on the CPA designation, so she could offer her clients more. In 2018 she moved into public accounting, where working across many industries showed her where clients were being underserved.
One gap stood out: families with both personal and corporate needs rarely had anyone looking at the full picture. In 2020 Beth left public accounting to build Blom Tax & Consulting with her father, David, to give those families a clear understanding of their finances as a whole and a better plan for what comes next.
David Blom, CPA, CA, FEA
PartnerDavid spent 22 years as a tax and estate practitioner with a national professional accounting firm. For the past eight years, David has focused on families with enterprising businesses, helping them stay focused on what matters most in their financial plans and make sound decisions for the future.
Along with his CPA, CA designation, David is a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) and a co-founder of Blackwood Family Enterprise Services, a team dedicated to helping family enterprises achieve lasting harmony.
